It was the goal of the formation of a free nation state of Indonesia to build a modern, democratic, and welfare Nation State of Indonesia based on the Pancasila. To achieve this goal, the implementation of One Nation Sistem of Education is designed to be one of the vehicles. However, sixty one years after the proclamtion of the Indonesian independent and about fifty six years after the implementation of One Natiopnal Education System for the whole Indonesia, the goal seems to be far from being achieved.
